Hi, I’m Ashley!

I am a former corporate girl living my dream of being a stay-at-home-mom for as long as possible. I am married to my best friend and personal comedian, Joel.

When we welcomed our first son in 2016, I left my corporate career behind and dove head-first into motherhood. We welcomed another baby boy in 2017 and I continued to pour every ounce of myself into being a mama.

Now that our boys are toddlers, I am trying to find myself again in the midst of motherhood.

Where does the name A Family Inspired come from?

During a long car ride, Joel and I discussed our desire to lead a life driven by our inspirations.  Motherhood and writing are two of my greatest joys, and so, A Family Inspired was born.   It is a little space for me to share the things about which I am passionate.

I believe:

• There is nothing quite like motherhood
• Life is not easy, fair, or perfect, but the human spirit is powerful and carries the ability to overcome
• In the joy of feeling pretty but not at the expense of feeling (too) uncomfortable
• Quality over quantity (especially when it comes to relationships)
• Life doesn’t have to be fancy to be wonderful
• Paying full price is overrated
